1. Professional Boundaries

To maintain client confidentiality and therapeutic boundaries, therapists do not accept friend requests or follow clients on personal social media accounts.

2. Interactions and Messaging

Clients should not attempt to communicate with the therapist through social media platforms. These channels are not secure, monitored, or used for therapy communication. Email or the client portal should be used for professional correspondence.

3. Confidentiality

Clients are discouraged from posting or commenting on the therapist’s professional pages to maintain confidentiality. If they choose to do so, they assume responsibility for any privacy risks involved.

4. Online Reviews

Clients are not required or expected to leave testimonials or reviews. Ethical guidelines restrict therapists from soliciting reviews and from responding to any client reviews due to confidentiality.

5. Educational Content

Abide in the Vine Counseling may post psychoeducational content or resources on its public pages. These are general in nature and do not constitute a therapeutic relationship or clinical advice.

6. Tagging and Mentions

Therapists will not tag or mention clients on social media. Clients are encouraged to maintain their privacy and avoid engaging in public interactions with the business page if anonymity is a concern.

7. Use of Social Media for Marketing

Marketing content may be shared on social media platforms. These are designed for general information and promotional purposes only. They do not replace professional services or establish a clinical relationship.
