1. Therapeutic Relationship Disclaimer

Engagement with Abide in the Vine Counseling, PLLC does not constitute a therapeutic relationship until all intake paperwork is completed, signed, and reviewed, and a formal agreement is made to begin counseling services. Viewing content or scheduling a consultation does not create a provider-client relationship.

2. No Guarantees Disclaimer

While therapy can be highly beneficial, it is not a guaranteed solution. Each individual’s response to therapy varies, and progress depends on a variety of factors including the client’s level of engagement, readiness for change, and external circumstances. No specific outcomes are promised or assured.

3. Crisis Services Disclaimer

Abide in the Vine Counseling, PLLC is not a crisis center and cannot guarantee immediate availability. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. You may also contact a 24/7 crisis line such as the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988.

4. Scope of Practice Disclaimer

Our services are provided by a licensed professional counselor associate, under supervision, who is limited to the counselor’s scope of training, licensure, and expertise. We do not provide legal, medical, or psychiatric advice. Referrals to appropriate professionals will be provided when issues fall outside our scope.

5. Telehealth Disclaimer

Telehealth services are offered as a convenience and are subject to certain limitations, including potential technology failures and limitations on emergency response. Clients are responsible for securing a confidential space for sessions and understanding the risks associated with remote communication.

6. Christian Counseling Disclaimer (If applicable)

Abide in the Vine Counseling, PLLC may offer faith-integrated counseling from a Christian worldview when desired by the client. Clients are never required to share or adopt the therapist’s spiritual beliefs, and services are provided respectfully and ethically to all individuals regardless of belief system.

7. Confidentiality Disclaimer

While confidentiality is strictly maintained according to HIPAA and professional ethics, there are legal and ethical exceptions, such as situations involving harm to self or others, abuse, or court orders. These exceptions will be reviewed in full during the intake process.

8. Social Media and Digital Content Disclaimer

Any content shared via blog, social media, or other platforms by Abide in the Vine Counseling, PLLC is intended for general education and inspiration. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, diagnosis, or treatment. Interaction with such content does not establish a therapeutic relationship.

9. Good Faith Estimate Disclaimer
